Douglas holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Zimbabwe and a Master’s Degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the National University of Science and Technology. In addition, he has earned professional certificates in Credit and Enterprise Risk Management. He joined Microplan Financial Services in December 2025. Prior to this, he accumulated over 18 years of experience at Standard Chartered Bank, now Crown Bank, where he served in various Senior leadership roles across Retail Banking, Credit, and Risk Management
