Opening Requirements
Minimum opening requirements for individual Savings Accounts
One colour passport size photograph
Original / copy of National ID (metal/plastic), driver’s licence or valid passport
Proof of residential address in the form of ZESA/Water/Tel One bill within 3 months in one’s own name or
- if it is landlord/tenant relationship, a lease agreement together with utility bill/affidavit from landlord authenticated by a commissioner of oaths who is a lawyer, showing the lawyer’s physical address and contact numbers plus landlord ID.
- husband/wife relationship, a marriage certificate plus utility bill
- if it is child/parent relationship, a long birth certificate plus utility bill
- letter from employer confirming residential address on company letterhead
- Letters from schools, chiefs or headmen
- Referral letters from Senior Bank Officials
A minimum opening balance is required
