Friday, November 12, 2021

“FBC Bank Victoria Falls Branch is based in the Tourism Hub in Zimbabwe. The City takes its name after one of the Seven Wonders of the World, The Victoria Falls, which are two kilometres away from the city centre. Our branch is strategically positioned in the central business district to cater for the needs of the Tourism and Hospitality Industry as well as Mining and other sectors.  The branch scope is not limited to Victoria Falls alone but spans to other towns such as Hwange, Dete, Cross Mabale, Lupane, Kamativi, and Binga.

We are delighted to be sharing this great milestone with our customers who have stood with us through the test of time. Being a homegrown financial services company, FBC Bank takes pride in the partnerships we have had with our clients as we want to soar above the sky together. Through these partnerships our branch has also participated in the following international and regional events - ‘The 20th Session of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation General Assembly’ in 2013, and the ‘2017 All Africa Golf Team Championships’, just to name a few.

Working with our clients has enabled us to provide win-win solutions in the construction and refurbishments of lodges and hotels, the transport and other services sector through our diverse product offering. Our digital transformation and innovation thrust resulted in another win in the banking sphere thus allowing our customers to access banking services through the USSD platform, our Zero Rated Mobile Banking Application and our Digital Chatbot ‘Noku’ on WhatsApp, thereby incorporating clients from all walks of life.

The Branch is led by Nancy Sakala who joined the Victoria Falls Branch in March 2017. She has been with the Bank for the past 18 years and has also worked in the Borrowdale, Private Banking- Harare, Southerton and Chinhoyi Branches. Nancy has a passion for service excellence and has several customer service accolades to her name.  She is supported by a young and vibrant team that is committed to their work and are always looking at ways to make their customers’ banking experience phenomenal. Nancy attributes the success of the branch to teamwork, customer centricity and cutting edge financial service technologies.

To our clients we say thank you for your tremendous support. Covid-19 came and our industry was the worst affected but we are stronger today because we stood by each other.

Tatenda, siyabonga, twalumba, taboka, thank you.
