Today In History - Kwekwe Branch

Wednesday, November 17, 2021

FBC Kwekwe Branch was one of the first branches to be opened to the public under the then First Banking Corporation brand.  The branch is a custodian of a rich heritage of both the organization and the City of Kwekwe as a whole. Over the years, the branch has maintained its strong presence and it continues to expand further and beyond Kwekwe into Redcliff, Gokwe, Kadoma, Sanyati, Zhombe , Silobela and Nembudziya. The support of the local authorities in these areas, the civil service, public and private companies has been overwhelming and greatly appreciated.

In 2013 the branch embarked on a housing project in Mbizo 9 extension, constructed 157 housing units as part of its housing project drive.  Currently we are offering the following loan facilities: Salary based loans, Mortgage financing, lease financing and business loans.

Our branch has the following products and services tailor made to suit different financial needs for our different clients, these include:  Savings Accounts, Nostro FCA Accounts, Internet Banking, Instant Card, Mobile Banking, Prepaid Mastercard, POS machine issuance, Insurance services and credit/lending services.

As a way of giving our clientele the best experience we have recently refurbished the branch making the banking hall and offices spacious and inviting. We trust our clients are excited by our new branch outlook.

The branch is currently under the leadership of Judge Dube. Judge is a seasoned banker having close to 30 years banking experience with various financial institutions in Zimbabwe. He has been a team leader at the FBC Building Society Gweru and Bulawayo branches over the years.

Looking ahead, as Kwekwe branch we commit to be at your service now and always. This is our promise to you: “ You matter  most”
