Covenant is a career reinsurer who boasts of over 10 years uninterrupted experience in reinsurance underwriting. He first had a stint with the then SARE as a student attaché in 2004, before joining FBC Re upon completion of his program as an assistant facultative underwriter in 2006. He rose through the ranks, occupying positions of underwriter, senior underwriter, Branch Manager for the giant reinsurer’s Bulawayo Branch, before being elevated to his current position of Underwriting Manager. Covenant holds a B.Com Insurance and Risk Management (Honors) degree, Diploma CII and Masters in Business Administration from National University of Science and Technology (NUST). He is currently in the final stage of Msc in Risk Management and Insurance. His hobbies include playing golf, chess, pool and watching soccer.
