We are pleased to announce that FBC Bancassurance now offers Roadside Assist. This is an enhancement to the existing Motor Insurance Product. Roadside Assist is open to all comprehensively insured vehicles and aims to provide roadside assistance to members in the event of an accident or a breakdown during travel. This product can also be accessed through FBC Insurance, FBC Bank and FBC Building Society Branches across the country.
The product has four packages which are as follows:
1) Angel Basic (USD3.50 per vehicle per month)
· Towing
· Tyre change
· Tyre fix and change
· 50% off on vehicle valuation and mechanical report
· Message transmission
· 30km radius
· 4 assists per vehicle per year
2) Angel Supreme (USD7.50 per vehicle per month)
· Towing
· Tyre change
· Tyre fix and change
· Free vehicle valuation and mechanical report
· Message transmission
· Locked in key retrieval
· Driver request
· Spare keys pickup
· 60km radius
· 8 assists per vehicle per year
3) Angel Unlimited (USD26.67 per vehicle per month)
i) Unlimited towing assists within Zimbabwe
ii) 5 non-towing assists within 60km radius
· Tyre fix and change
· Free vehicle valuation and mechanical report
· Message transmission
· Locked in key retrieval
· Driver request
· Spare keys pickup
4) Bus & Truck Rescue (USD396.00 per vehicle per year).
Covers schools, universities, colleges, staff buses and selected truck fleets anywhere within Zimbabwe (commercial vehicles are excluded)
· Unlimited towing radius
· 4 assists per vehicle per year
Qualifying Criteria
· Comprehensive USD Motor policy with FBC Insurance
How to Sign Up
· Where one already has comprehensive motor insurance(USD) and wishes to add Roadside Assist, they can complete their Amendment Form clearly indicating the preferred package and submit for processing.
· The Roadside assist fee will be deducted from the client’s account in order to activate the product
· New clients can complete a Motor Proposal form and tick the preferred package under Optional Benefits at their nearest FBC Bank, Building Society or FBC Insurance branch.
