DAVOS – The 2018 World Economic Forum (WEF) officially kicks off in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday. The four-day annual meeting draws in a number of the world's power players – from key politicians and heads of state to private sector executives and philanthropists – to discuss economic and diplomatic issues in an elite gathering in the Swiss mountains. This year, the theme "Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World" will run as a thread throughout speeches, panel discussions and seminars.
